I rescued this wooden boat out of a barn that was about to fall down. I have no clue what make it is. I hope someone recognizes it. It is 14' and was made in the 50s. It came with a 35hp Evinrude outboard which is the original and looks like it just came out of the factory. I know the boat was worked on in the 70s but they never put any of the name plates back on. The only number I found is 140C793 although it looks like the 3 was an 8 or S at one time. This number is burned into the wood that is supporting the transom. I know it is not a Thompson.

I would say Chris Craft. At first I thought maybe a Lyman. Awesome find, wish I found that!!

I am old enough to remember boats similar to that, I am guessing, but it looks like a "Falls Flyer", made by Larson boat company of Little Falls Mn.

Us Plywood Made alot of these ColdMold Plywood Hulls So It's hard to say what company built this one.

It could be a Wolverine Wagemaker or a Aristocraft. Our marina restores alot of wodden boats and my boss has been playing with them since the early 50's so I am pretty sure he's right. Good Luck and nice project!!
