I'm not sure though cause I talked to her about it like 2 months ago and she said they still weren't sure what they were going to do...so don't take my word for it.

Akron NY is still on the COSDRA schedule. www.cosdra.com

Thank your snowcross buddies for the high insurance prices for these events. With all the injuries in snowcross we have seen the cost of insuring grass/ice drags go through the roof. When I started racing in '98 it cost $600 to insure for a weekend, as of 2005 it was $1800 to insure each day of racing. Insurance companies group us all together as a snowmobile racing event which really sucks for us drag racers, we're getting hosed.

95% of my races this year are in NY. Now, I know that P.R.O. won't be hosting a race at seneca falls, and I have not found any sanctioning body that has picked up the track. I've raced there the past 2 years.

In NY, my schedule is:

Sept. 8-9 Kasoag Lake, NY
Sept. 15-16 Ohio, NY
Sept. 22-23 Murray, NY
Sept. 29 Sanborn, NY
Oct. 13 Montgomery, NY

that sucks if true

I know we no longer hold grass drag do to insurance though a lack of volounteers does not help neither yet insurance if one of the biggest reasons

Found this on the Orleans County site
The Southern Orleans Trailblazers will be holding a Grass Drag event on September 22nd and 23rd. They will be held in the Town of Murray on the Groth Rd. This is the event that used to be held at Buck's. COSDRA Racing will be running the pro circut as well as the amature runs. There will also be a swap meet and vendor area. More to come.
