ski-dooin' it
I live in montana about an hour south of the Canadian-US border right below the AB-BC border. Me and my two buddies are thinking about taking a trip to somewhere this winter but haven't descided yet. Revelstroke seems cool but by its popular demand seems like it might be "crowded", so i was looking at the pemberton ice cap. just looking for any info on this area. we have sleds, truck, trailer and all our gear, we just want a place to go that will be fun to ride at. From all the picks i have seem pemberton is allot like alaska (which i have sledded in) on a bit smaller scale, AK is scary big.

I wouldn't worry about Revy being too crowded, but the Penberton ice cap ia awesome too. There are several other riding areas around there as well, depending on what you want to ride. I would suggest calling this guy as a guide:

Totally Awesome Adventures

He can supply all the equipment you need or just himself as a guide. IMO it would be worth the money as the place is HUGE and he can take you places from mild to wild.

Ditto on hooking up with Ray from totally awesome adventures. He does guided tours and he lets you do what you want within reason. Snow is amazing ! Go mid week and hope for a sunny day... When we went last Feb it snowed and was foggy for most of the day. Pretty scary place when visibility is poor... Good luck, we will be back in Feb.
