I posted this same question in the gen.sled forum but, unfortunately it attracted some tards',but I hear Sept 1 as being the shipping date for the 800's.Any truth to this?Anybody hear something different?
Treebasher
From what I've heard the TNTs are already being shipped so Sept. 1st does not surprise me for the 800s. I'm all for it, I have some work to do to get it ready to ride and the fall is a pretty busy time. The longer I have it in my possession the better chance I'll get it all done before the snow flies.

i was hearing more end of october.... but september sounds better
BOBLER
yes aug 1 is the rumor
Just Pin It!!
From a good sorce, I was told begin of Sept., but the TNT was suppose to be earlier and it came late. SO............I will tell you exactly when it comes when it gets here!!! grinning-smiley-023.gif

I think that they will send any machine that is snow checked at the end of September or the beginning of October. I snow checked my MXZ X-RS 800 in April last year, and it wasn't sent until about October. Might be different though this year for anyone who snow checked the XP and Summit XPs.

.....I snowchecked my sled in the spring as well but, there has been more than a few guys on dootalk speaking of the Sept 1 delivery date. The production of the TNT is done and it seems DOO wants to have the TNT/XP800 for the late summer, early fall grass drags including Haydays. It would make perfect marketing sense. For me personally it doesn't matter however, I need to sell my other sled so I can make room in the garage.

I like this sled a lot. I've had a Poo 600 XC SP, and the 800 P TEK outshines the 600, and is a class all it's own. I can't wait to drive it again, it is such a sweet machine, pulls hard once you hit the throttle. How did the X-RS do against the XP 800 when you raced the two together? Cause, I raced against a Fusion 900 that had a clutch kit and pipe, and my stock X-RS beat it. I've also beat a couple of set up Cat F7s.

the x-rs is a sweet solid sled. i love the way it looks too.

we raced the two sleds over an over. basically they would be side by side till about 60mph then the xp would start to pull hard. really really good pull on the top end.

how many miles you end up putting on that machine so far?

Nice. I'm not surprised that the XP would pull hard. It's a very light machine, lighter than my MXZ 550X, and it has the 800R motor in it. I love the way the X-RS looks, the XP looks sweet too.

As for the miles, I have just over 1,200 miles on it. It is a sweet machine to ride, lots of fun with this machine. i_need_snow.gif Can't wait to ride again.

I'm hoping that my dealer waits till after Deer Season (nov) for his shipment, not enough room in the garage/shed/nor trailer to add another machine....at least for now....the car could stay out in the driveway..hmmm...

Keep us updated, and post pics of the machines when you guys get them. Would like to see them XPs.
