After several years on board of FCMQ it looks like Ray Lefebvre is retiring.This guy has been a great ambassador to our sports in good times and bad times.All the best to you Ray.......now you can enjoy the winters!!

WOW! This is a loss for the federation, Raymond was a very good man. I had met him a few times at meetings. Was there any reason given for stepping down? He never made any mention of his intentions at the meetings in Minnesota last month.

It might be good to get some new blood in that position.
What i would like to see is the goverment of Quebec helping out the FCMQ A little more in the near future.
Its alarming to see rate in which we have lost in trails in the last 5 years.
Also another bad sign is that new people are buying up acers and acers of land up north many with snowmobile trails on them.

I was at a meeting with Raymond Friday and Saturday. He was telling me at present, he plans to be done the end of December. His replacement is yet to be named.
