Good luck hopefully someone can help you out. If I were you, I would start working on your resume now. Then do a search for fishing lodges. Call these places and get the hiring person's contact information - very important. This is the person who may one day hire you - normally this is the owner too! Learn about the lodge, the internet can be very useful. Once you have done this, create a custom cover letter for each lodge. You can find ways to incorporate information about the lodge into your cover letter - this really shows that you care about the business and not just looking for a summer job. Knowing information about the company will also come in hand if you are given an interview. Also, I would even suggest getting creative with the resume. Most people just do up a standard resume on white paper which mixed in with a hundred resume looks like a stack of paper. Even using an off-white paper would make a differance. Man, I would have loved to work at a fishing lodge when I was kid - I worked crappy retail at Zellers!
