what should the c-c be when i put my 06 600ho in my 07 racer? also, would i need any of those spacers for the motor, or just as i get it from the IQ trail sled and bolt it into my chassis? thanks

Clutch C-to-C should be Exactly 10.625" (10 5/8") you do not need any spacers or shims to get this distance correct.

If your '06 600 comes with motor straps they will not work, they have a spacer on one side between the motor and strap and you will not use any of these parts (Straps & Spacers from the Donor Sled).

Just bolt the 600 HO motor directly to the 440 straps and drop the motor into the chassis. Simple as that.

Did you ever find yourself a Clutch Allignment tool???

i'm just going to have Steve Scheuring align my clutches. Bought my sled from him and he lives 15 min from me. he is a good guy. I will have to see if he has some 440 motor straps that i can have. i should be pretty good to go soon. i have a set of modified crankshop race twins that have stingers modified for a trail 600 motor and exits in stock exhaust hole, tank coming from trieditonce, motor here in the next day or so, then i just need straps and oil tank and bolt it all in. anything i should be aware of so nothing jumps out at me and suprises me big time? i dont think i am missing anything.

only thing i dont have is a clutching set-up.....

also i was looking in another thread about a self aligning bearing..what is that for? something i need for my 600 in my 07 chassis or am i good to go. it has 22/43 gearing in it with a slipper gear i believe.

whats the part number for the motor straps if i need to order them for the 440?

and i will need the 600ho throttle cable if that doesnt come with themotor, i hope it does.

Your '07 chassis came with the self alligning bearing already, you should check to make sure it's still in there.

The 45T was the most common Slip Gear, not saying it can't be a 43T but all the '07 came with 45T. I have several slippers other than the 45T so I know they are out there but I am thinking if someone has a 43T they likely hung on to it and put the stocker back in there.
