Hey guys, before my dads last ride out I had the slide rails off and told him if he wanted to take her out for a spin he had to put em back on.. I dont see how he did it but i finally decided today that I'd start strippin her down... Upon taking off sliders I noticed that the front 2 bolts had some play in them, not something you normally see. Then as soon as I got the front bolts off i noticed a big rip in the side of the track so I get really curious, sure enough the front holes for the sliders are about 1.5 times as big as they used to be. Anybody have a good fix to that? I remember Reading somewhere about putting on one of those new 128 inch tracks from cat on there, anybody have the measurements so that I can just drill in the new holes, put in new reinforcements and be done with it?

I have a very similar situation on my tunnel any help would be great. I would think if you kept the stock location and replaced support on the inside to the tunnel that is the same thickness as the originals, and then on the outside just have a new support riveted to the new inside use a longer bolt to the front tork arm it should work. kind of like the old tunnel repair kits were used it should be ok. thoughts?

the only problem with doing that is the tunnel itself would still be "warbled"... i really like the 128 idea, that should also give me less rolling resistance plus it'd be different
