i'm looking at getting a 05' mod sled. i will most likley be racing it but i also want it for back country riding. i know on the 440's if your riding trails/backcountry w/out oil injection the center bearing won't get enough oil. Is this the same on the 600 mod or will i be alright to still use pre-mix? Thanks in advance.

an '05 is an 800 mod, correct me if im wrong? and if its the 800 you have the big block, and you will have to hack apart your bulkhead a little for the oil pump to clear

If its a 600HO based mod, The same failure will happen to the center crank bearing with out drilling out the second oil passage or adding oil injection. If its the 800BB, it will be fine with premix. Be rich just to be on the safe side though. Snofevr is correct about having to notch the bulkhead to fit the oil pump into the motor. -moto
