ah, you got my number! lol
ya, i got it all striped out last night, everything, headlights, taillights, passenger seat, rear bottom seat cushion, all interior parts and what not. all the glass except for windshield and rear glass, all of it. I forgot about the one at airborne, ill have to get a registration and restrictions sheet for that one.
I might be interested in just straight up buying the cutlass from you, im not looking to trade this one. Is the cutlass a 5 speed, what would you want for it? any oil or gas leaks?
Cool cool, ill see ya up there if i dont here back from ya,

pretty good. rollcage is basically done, all that remains is paint, chain the bumpers on and reinforce the gas tank with two extra straps. Then it's all done
I'll post pics when it's done

huh? I haven't gotten a call or even heard anything about running thursday. I wonder if it's just to get interest from fans/crowd or a practice or something.
But anyways, the majority of the car is done, paint and rollcage, basically everything except deciding tires and re-enforcing the gas tank.
Question for you rcsteve, we are debating what to run for a tire setup. our car is front wheel drive, and there's hardly any weight in the back, so we were thinking of running all season tires up front, and snows on the back. that way if we have to go through the infield at all, the snows will dig in better and keep the rear end from sliding out and around. What do you think????
Here's pics of the paintjob all finished, i was originally going to do flames, but the rollered on paint was to rough and bumping for the 1/4" tape to stick, so i just made some annoying bright looking stuff with 1/2" tape.

Whoa people on the track wont have any problem seeing you!
Were you driving your Cadi today? I think I saw you getting onto 116 from south brownell (sp?) rd. You put out A LOT of black smoke, I didnt realize Cadi had an optional diesel engine...

Peter, I was on those roads coming back from work, but I have NEVER seen my caddy ever produce any sort of smoke. I remember some old beaten and rotten chevy following me, might have been that???? But I'm definitely going to check today, but IDK. It probably was me, I've only seen two other eldorados around the same year as mine in vermont, and none were done like mine. caddy's aren't diesel, just letting ya know cause i never know if you kidding or not! haha
Yea, were gonna have like 4 spares, but I'm gonna try and fine as many as i can. what do you guys think about what we plan on running for tires. Here it is again so you don't have to go back and read the other post.

The race is at the Thunder Road SpeedBowl in Barre Vermont. I'm not sure of the exact address, but its near the old or still operating stone quarry I believe.

I'm not sure, I've been wondering that myself. If they do it would be a hell of a lot funnier, but also harder for us racers.
