Looking to get a new track. Anyone have a zx chassis 800 that you have ran either of these tracks on? I have read ( in another forum) where you can put the 2" track on with no mods, and not have problems. Is this true? Anybody out there ran one with or without problems? Either way I need to replace the track what do you guys suggest?
Also, I ride with guys who have 03' F7's and they blow my doors off. I sit and spin and they are gone. Between a new track and a goodwin perforace clutch kit any suggestions as to performance upgrades to beat those cats? My sled is stock, 3 of the f7's are stock and one is highly modified( he's a cat mechanic) Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

im curious to know the answer to your question aswell, im looking at buying an 03 800 but dont wanna get smoked by f7's all day if im gonna own one, I can understand the f-7s killing the mxz off the line untill about 80 or 90 but i would hope the 800 would run the f-7 down after that???

Good luck keeping up with a 03 F7 they were the best sleds that year, a well setup F7 is very hard to beat. The problem with the Ski-doo's is they dont transfer the weight very well, if you have a SC111 suspension try taking the stop blocks off the rails in the back to allow it to transfer more giving you more traction.....as for a 2" paddle I dont think there is enough room without changing your drivers and maybe the bolts in the tunnel. I know you can go 1.25 and safley stud without changing anything but beyond that I belive changing your front drivers and possibily rolling the chaincase foward might have to be done. Those F7 sno-pro tracks hook up awsome being that they are 1.375 lugs.

Yah, they keep telling me that I need to trade my MXZ in for a 03, but I just cannot do it. Even at the "race up face" I beat two F7's off the line in the stock open class but both ran me down and beat me at the finish line. And in the stock 800's another F7 smoked me good and I beat the other. I will appreciate the input and will take all that I can. As for racing my buddies down the road on their F7's they hook up and are gone my 800 will not catch them. I have only beat them once and that was crossing a freashly froze lake we should not have been crossing, I hit open water, and when I popped back on to the ice on the other side I pinned it and waited for them on shore!!
Thanks for the info on the track!

Got a 2" paddle in a 2003 Renegade no problem. It is stretched to 144" but that should not make a difference. There is clearance between the driver and the tunnel.

i put a 1.75 on my 01 700do and it fit just fine but only had about .375 of clearance between track and heat exchanger. i think it would fit but man would it be tight also when things get that tight you will loose a ton of speed due to snow and air getting trapped in the tunnel creating alot of drag .
