I have a 2003 Edge 600 and It has been freezing cold hear for the last couple of weeks. I have been having to use a bottle of Isopropyl to get this thing to start almost every time I go out. Is this normal? I would think I bottle per tank should be sufficient. Has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks flag_usa.gif

With our cold temps here in Michigan I have been using at least a 1/2 to 1 bottle in each tank.

Isopropanol will not help if the water is already frozen.... If you think you have a bad water problem drain your tank.... leave your sled full when its not going to get used for a few days! last add your Isopro just before your go rideing...

After I put the Isopropyl in it runs just fine. It has been ward enough at times to melt the ice if there was any. Once melted the Iso would have taken care of the moisture. Am I right? This is just kind of frustrating. I dont really want to take it to the dealer to see what they think either.

Do you ever find frost on the inside of the gas cap on very cold days? If you do you have a water problem.... I would run it down on fuel and pull the tank off and drain it into a clean can and burn it in the lawn mower in the spring! a big water problem will burn you down one of these days! Its where your getting your gas or how you store your sled? thats what cause it!
