Is anybody on here running nitrous on their triple? My father and I do a lot of ice racing in the winter. Our triple is pushing about 235hp, (we have the dyno sheets) and we recently stretched it to a 136" track, so we can really hook up and don't have to worry about it coming over on us. We are looking for a project to add to it this year, and we were thinking about nitrous. We would just run an airbox setup, but were not running an airbox, and we'd have to run mikuni carbs for our idea for an airbox.
I guess my main questions are, who's running it, is it reliable enough (i know it will require tinkering, with these drag sleds whos not tinkering every weekend), whats a good reliable kit (I was thinking boondockers), are people running an airbox setup, or some sort of other application.
Any help on suggestions, and how to set it up would be great.
Thanks in advance

dont run a fogger setup. get a wet system, it has a nozzle that mixes the gas and nos in a little nozzle than it blasts in between the carb and reeds. very good system, very easy to dial in. and safer than the fogger system on a carbed sled.

For what you are going to use it for. I would highly recomend a wet kit.
N.O.S. offers a nice set up.
The only down fall with a system like this is you will probably need to run a battery.
As they run a stand alone fuel system consisting of a regulated electric fuel pump.
I would assume you are running race fuel allready. If you are not this system is easy to set up on a seperate fuel cell.
If you have any questions about the kits available feel free to pm me.

yep, the nos system is a good one. you can get replacement parts from people on here or from auto places like summit.
i run the little pump with no battery. but I might put one on next years sled for a little stator safety.
