I am putting oil injection on my 04, just looking for a throttle cable/oil cable from a 01 prox 440. How hard is it to take out the grease nipple on the clutch side and install an oil line fitting?

my buddy and I just threw an 800 motor in his rev 440...I'll talk to him and ask if he wants to sell the 440 throttle cable. I don't see why it shouldn't fit, both 440's have the separate carbs (non-rack style) and oil injection. You interested?

checked out the cable and it should work...however I think on our throttle cables there is a ball on the end of the cable that holds on to the slide in the carb right? on his its not a ball its like a cylinder shape. You think you want to give it a shot?

I was gonna ship your money out tomorrow morning, would you rather me wait and we can work somethin out with the cable if you want it?

I don't know if it will work. If it isn't round I don't think it will fit into the nut that is screwed into the carb slide. You can send the money when you get a chance, no big rush. Thanks for looking in to it. Jeff.
