Hey gang--

Was wondering if anyone is aware if you can swap out radius rods (both upper and lower and both sides) and tie rods between various models and/or years of Yami's. I bought a 1999 MountainMax 700 triple last spring off ebay from a guy who ran it in the Rockies. He widened the front end and I am trying to get it back to stock without having to go the dealer and buy new all the way around.

Another question if I may...would narrowing the front end a little more than stock help with deep, fluffy snow? A bunch of us went out riding the second weekend of April after our area (Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan) got pounded with 4-5 feet of snow over a four-day period. The guys riding stock Mountainmax's had a hell of a lot less trouble than me. I'm guessing that part of that could be attributed to the fact that my front end is about 4-4.5 inches wider than stock.

Since last season was only my second season riding, I'm open to suggestions. Regarding the radius and tie rods, any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated...

THANX!

Hey all you sould have to do is turn your Radius rods all the way in, take the locking nuts of them. You sould be about 37 inchs from center to center thats what I did on mine any way.
