have they come out with it yet? unless your like 5'1" and 130lbs I wouldn't get it. for the same price you could find a reliable used raptor 660, but if you like it get it beause you can't go wrong with a yami!!

I dont wanna get anything bigger than a 400 really because insurance would probably be alot more expensive. Looks like its the 350 then. If anyone else has any input, that'd be awesome.
thanks

The Raptor 250 would be a great trail quad, but I dont expect it would be all that fast. It pretty much uses the same engine as the Wolverine/BearTrack/Bruin 250. I think its something like 12 hp. I actually considered getting a Raptor 250 becuase I think they would be a fun machine for trail riding and are pretty cheap, but I know Id get bored with the power in about a week or 2. I used to have an '06 YFZ 450 and I thought it was slow (even with a jet kit and Yoshi pipe), so I know Id get bored with the little Rappy.
Still though, for $3500 you are getting a nice machine. Unlike some other 250 sport quads that are basically utility quads with sporty-looking plastic, the Raptor 250 was built from the ground up. Its got a good suspension and its chain drive (a lot of other 250 sport quads are shaft drive).
If you are new to quads and just want something to putt-putt around on, the little Raptor might be all you need.
The Z400/KFX 400/DVX 400 is a good machine too, but they are known for the frame breaking if you jump them a lot. The Raptor 350 is a good machine too, its basically a Warrior with different plastic and some minor motor tweaks. The 400EX is a good machine as well.
I personally love Yammies and none of mine have ever let me down, but theres lots of good options on the market.
