Question for you (because I do not ride an ATV) - are those organized ATV trails you are riding on? Are they on private or crown land? How far can you go on the trail system??

Just wondering what trail availablity is like compared to sledding.

RR most of it is crown land, some is private but still open for use. Just about all the Twin Mountain SC 400 series trails are open for multi use only one trail was closed and that was the 430 Twin Mountan Club House Trail. As far as I can tell you can run just about anywhere from there, we ran west to just shy of Fenelon Falls there you need a KLATV pass. Then to the north east you can run to the Toryhill/ Gooderham area but I believe you need a EOATV pass for anything beond that.

By the looks of it I'll purchass a EOATV pass for this year, but I sure hope they get there shit together and make a province wide pass.

90% of this map is within the 5 points area, 100s of miles of trail and tons of great spots for ATV camping and fishing

RR the Haliburton County has an ATV network which includes a lot of the Haliburton County Snowmobile Trails....the northern tip I believe comes out on Tall Pines # 68 ( or is it 64?) at County Rd 8 (Kawagama Lake)

Here is the site

Here's a couple more pic's from 5 Points, my bud and I went for the day yesterday. We found a few more awesome backwoods lakeside camp sites. Best spot was an awesome trail leading in to Consession LK (yellow doted line on map) with a couple incredible campsites. Were going up sometime around the last week of July for a couple days/nights camping, quading, fishing, drinking .......and general R&R. If any of you are into some backwwods quad camping your more than welcome to join in, probably going Wed the 25th till Friday, then were buggering off to our buddy's cottage for the rest of the weekend.
