Do you actually realize how light the hood already is? You're going to save, at most, a few ounces...and for a significant price. You can find much better places to save weight, and for a lot less.

im not buying it to save weight im buying it as a spare so i can learn to do graphics and for when my stock one is complitly finished
and i sort of going for the trasher its only 99.99
