Welfare Poem


I cross ocean,
poor and broke,
Take bus,
see employment folk.

Nice man treat me
good in there,
Say I need to
see welfare.

Welfare say,
"You come no more,
We send cash
right to your door."

Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep
you healthy!

By and by,
I got plenty money,
Thanks to you,
Canadian dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,
Tell them 'come
fast as you can.'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,
I buy big house
with welfare bucks

They come here,
we live together,
More welfare checks,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,
But neighbour's patience
wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
moves away,
Now I buy his house,
and then I say,

"Find more aliens
for house to rent."
And in the yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
But they, too,
draw the welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
And soon we
own the neighbourhood.

We have hobby
it's called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

Canadian crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think Canada
darn good place!
Too darn good for
the white man race.

If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room in
Pakistan.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1, 890.00 and each can also get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of Canada for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1, 012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Lets send this to all Canadians, so we can all be ticked off and maybe we can get the refugees cut back to $1, 012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470 00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 years.

yeah money well spent. another nutting to the canadian taxpayer.


i heard that you dont have to pay into cpp at all. and you still can collect it if you start paying in for about the last 10 years before you collect. the previous 30-40 years.... another tax grab.

this only applies to those with their own business'. everyday employees have to pay it.

Hey can-am, get your facts straight, if your Canadian you are a immigrant-came from Europe, unless of course your of first nations ancestry. Secondly, turbans seriously man, turbans= Sikhs, Sikhs=people who work on farms, convience stores ,mills, truck drivers ect. ect. Immigrants are basically all perfectionists, they try there best and don't slack off. (unlike some ignorant Europeans who don't care about the quality of the job) Anyway my point, can-am you should be pointing the finger at you 'own'

there is only one thing to say about immigrants and its that.... THEY are the ones who have to ADAPT.... NOT CANADIANS! if they dont like it... they can gladly go back to where they came from.

Yes I do know what I'm saying but do you, I don't remember saying anything about immigrants adapting. Maybe in Saskatchewan the immigrant situation is different from BC, never been to Saskatchewan so I wouldn't now. Anyway I'm not here to start a fight with anyone I was just saying to can-am to get his facts straight turban wearing people are Sikhs, they don't come from Pakistan, they come from India. Well actually they could come from many other places, but my point is there not originally from Pakistan. Also killerff you didn't read/understand my post did you?? If your are Canadian you are an immigrant, unless your a Native-Indian. So technically the Europeans should HAVE adapted to the native ways, and if that were the case we would be doing things a lot differently. So, tell me killerff why should immigrants adapt now?

I'm not a fan of welfare at all. Strap em to a tree and get your shotgun ready. just kidding thats a little harsh, but I don't at all agree that 'immigrants' or even people that originated and Canada should get welfare (except of course people with mental disabilities that can't work even if they wanted to) but the other people that can work but choose not to....those are the lazy a**es that should be executed

Bottom line, i think it is getting too easy for people to come to Canada and not get a job and collect more than struggling students who are in school trying to get an education and get a good job. These students are very hard pressed to pay for an education if they could not get a schoolarship and don't get alot of help from the government. I believe that if you imigrate here, if you A. don't get a job in 6 months and contribute to society and pay taxes, be sent back to your country and can apply to come back 6 months to a year later or B. Go to school and get an education and contribute to society. Why should i pay taxes for someone to sit a home all day and they get that money because its supposedly their right to get it. Social assistance should end in 6 months to motivate these people into getting a job or they get sent back to their home land. I don't want to help foot the bill for someone to come here to our country and sponge off us and live here for free while i have to work for my money and they sit at home and enjoy living free/ for free.
