Looking to trade time for use of cottage for carpentry, maintenance, landscape skills/work. I buy materials, you provide the knowledge, tools and time in exchange for use of the cottage.
The cottage can sleep up to 6 people and can be used during any season/sport(fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, etc.), I can be flexible as this is not a "rental" and is our family get away. I'll also throw in use of the 14' aluminum fishing boat with motor, canoes and 18' pontoon boat at the property. The cottage sits only 35' off the water with pier and is at the end of the road providing privacy. There is access to the BoBoen trail system right out the door and easy access to St. Germian, Sayner, Eagle River and Minocqua. As this is our family get away and not a rental, the cottage is exceptionally clean and outfitted with nice furniture, therefore we would not be able to allow pets of any kind or smoking inside the buildings, sorry.
I'm looking for a person with numerous skills in the carpentry/building industry as I have numerous projects that could be completed but don't want to work with more than one individual on this. I'm looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, can provide good references and is insured. Also, you must have availability to the "northwoods" as I'm not looking for a one day or weekend type of arrangement. Ideally, I'd like this relationship to continue for years to come and am willing to work hard and be flexible with the proper individual. In exchange, I want a person who does quality work and is committed to caring for the cottage as I would.
