Friend got the kit for his and his gf's. The dealership put his in and it didn't look like too much effort was involved. He has yet to put his gf's in.

Take your time putting it in. Use caution when cutting the plenum, if you cut wrong, more fit up problems. I would also add more weatherstripping/sealant around the new box where it meets the old plenum. Big air gap where the two halves meet up along the sides and top.Seal the bellypan with clear silicone and anything that even looks like it could breathe in fine snow. ....side bar note, when I pulled my throttle body loose, I looked in at the reed cages...one he** of alot of belt dust caught on the reeds, clean them up good cuz' when you pin that bad boy it WILL suck it into the motor... I did notice alot more intake noise from sled, it seemed to perform better, people asked if it was "modded" out because it defineatly sounds louder.I found that when I removed the radiator that the sled ran much hotter on the readout, so I added scratchers to it, brought the temps down immediately, also helps with the slides getting lubed. Looking back, the biggest thing I wanted was to get rid of that air plenum/clutch guard, for what it's worth, I probably would have gone with the Timbersled intake, leave the radiator in, found another clutch guard, and called it good. Too much dinkin around just to save a few lbs.in you know what I mean.. Just don't stop there, do the venting and clutching, this sled will rock if you help it along! Thanks for asking!!! Man do I feel spent!!!! ...........still ridinthebest!!!!

ya thought about the tibersled one, my brother has it. only thing i don't like is that it is sucking in hot air from underneath the hood. so just make sure everything is sealed off on the intake and should have no trouble with belt dust on those reeds is that correct. i got the local dealer putting it in, they have done about 8 of them, says it takes them about 2 hours. i'll have to recheck everything when i get it back to make sure that it's all good.

Yes It will wake it up. also put in the coolant restrictor, in the end of coolant bottle hose, this will help keep it cooler also.

right on guys thanks, anyone buy those ez-steer spindles from holz performance. there black about 300 for a pair they say they help up 50 percent better steering. looking at those and a pipe but i was talking to slp and they said that you have to have a certain model silencer for the pipe, which sounds like b/s to me like a slp silencer for a 700 is a slp silencer there all built the same im thinking, anyway anything you guys know about the slp pipe and y pipe let me know on the that. pros and cons and what the expect from it.

Stay with the stock Y-pipe, and not sure what you are asking on the can, but I dont think a 700 can, will fit with the 900 pipe, also make sure when puttin in the air box, that you put the air sensor, in the right place, or it will run on the fat side, go to there web site in tech area, it will show you. what to do?on the holtz spindles they help, but are pricey, as other have went with the single runner, or cut some off the rear of runners, and that helps aslo ,check your tow in and out, as they are way off stock, and the camber adjuster, to make sure it is right also, slp has been a great help.check out the web site let me know what you think? hope this has help .

im talking about putting the 700 y pipe and pie on the 2006 755 motor. has anyone run one of these pipes from slp or no.

I have the SLP box on my sled and I like it a lot more than the Timbersled. Honestly, I felt like I lost power with the timbersled. It restricts the airflow down to like a 2 inch hole after the filter AND it sucks hot air from the pipe. Along with that, it sounded like I added a duck call to my sled. The SLP sounds AWESOME, it does give your sled that "modded" sound along with a nice can like an HPS. just my 2 cents.

Im in the process of installing this kit on my 06 switch 600HO. The instructions suggest +2 on the mains and a possible needle jet adjustment. Any thoughts?

No need to change the jetting.

[If you ride in the powder and Some of the filter material inthe front of the sled for Slp and seal it well and dont cut the sides of the belly pan like what they tell you to do because you will just pack every thing full of snow and it chocks the engine and then you stpend time digging out the nose of you sled all the time and I was kind wonder ing y my valves looked like that thanks Rindinthebest I got the same sled and its in pices now and it looks alot diferent.

I had my SLP air box installed last year. WOW....I like it a lot.
Swapped out the can at the same time for an aftermarket one. Less weight, more noise, more fun LOL!

I installed the SLP high flow air box, V-Force3 reeds and a can. Went up two on the main jet and left everything else stock. Just did 130 miles and this sleds pulls much harder! Great bottom end and increased mid range. Noise hasnt made a noticeable increase either. Jetting appears to be right where it needs to be. luxhello.gif
