just wondering if anyone has used this compensator and how good it worked. Automatic Temperature and Altitude Carburetor Compensator.(ATACC)

I run a tempaflow , it works just like fuel injection! My egt is the same days that its -10 and days that its almost 50*. If I get a carb sled It will have a Atacc on it or at the very min a tempaflow. simple to install also. I have 2 prox 700 sleds both are jetted with 440 main jets , one is all stock it gets 9~10 mpg with 24/41 gearing and a 121 x 1" track. The other has a head, slp pipe, gutted airbox 136 x 1.25" track and 23/43 gearing with a tempaflow. The mod sled gets 13+ mpg on hard pack trails at 40-50 mph... Yes they work and its trouble free ecomomy and power

I ran it on my old sled and it worked awesome!! I had the sled jetted for MN and brought it out west twice this year and with the altitude change, the sled was spot on!

i've got it on my pro-x, great product, does exactly what it says it will... had tempa flow on a previous sled, money well spent, imho it is mandatory on any carb'd sled...

I agree with Bonz, this is the only product that does exactly as advertised. Once you have your base jetting set, your golden.

I have had one on a 2003 700RMK for 3 years and ride it here in Wisconsin and take it to Wyoming every year. It has worked perfectly all of the time regardless of elevation changes. It is spot on every time, it is never fat and the fuel consumption is much less because of this.

Does the ATACC work well on the older sleds too such as mine, 1998 RMK 600?

Is the ATACC beneficial over the tempaflow if there are only minor elevation changes? I never get out west, just Michgan's Upper and Lower where elevation is not really an issue. Is my money better spent on the Tempaflow or the ATACC?

Tempaflow would be better for you.

Atacc or a tempaflow is money well spent, the work awsome, i have been running my atacc this/past season and the sled performs flawless with around 12-14mpg .. buy one. the best mod ive done so far... the next best thing is a Boss seat..

I will be putting a Atacc on my RMK this year because I go out west and it does altitude as well. This is where I will be buying mine. LOL. See link or contact me if you want to purchase.

I had ATACC in stock 800 RMK, 02, did what it was supposed to do, kept motor on the rich side, I removed and went back to jetting, did notice a better response from engine. I now have a UBR 900 and it was strongly suggest no ATACC. they do niot work well with mod's, IMHO

They work very well with mods, you just need to know how to tune a mod sled. I have one on both of my mod sleds and I also run Boondocker systems on both. Also Paul is a great dealer and he will set you up with a system, Go Big or go home.
