Yes it is true, and still snowing now. There will be tons of rideable snow up here, but I don't believe the groomers are going out anymore. I'll post if that changes though.

where are you guys located. i here a lot of people say that is a great place to use. my family has a camp off the capital road where we stay a lot fishing, hunting ,and snowmobiling but its nice to not always go to the same place all the time. and its hard to get down to its 87 if they decide to plow the back roads. i was in jackman last saturdayand had nice ride to pitston i would have gone friday night instead of early saturday morning if i knew more of where to stay and who to call.

Do you know where the Border Riders clubhouse is? I am a short ways north of that.

yes, i unloaded at the club house saturday. so you are farther up 201 towards the border. we are planning a fishing trip in may. do you have a web site.
Sprucemeadow
I am a 1/2 mile from the clubhouse. The trail heading north along 201 from the clubhouse goes to here. Our website is www.sprucemeadowcabins.com. I'm looking forward to May fishing also. Hard to find much open water right now.

Negative. We probably have more snow right now than all year, but no grooming. State reimbursment ended for one, and it is too warm anyway. Would be a waste of time/money without cold weather. Just saw it may be in the 20's the next few nights, so who knows, but mostly likely no grooming as it won't hold up. There is plenty of snow though for great off trail/ ungroomed trail riding.
