I have a disappearing anti freeze issue that I can not track down and puttin reeds in, and have to replace my starter. So I started to pull it out. Went to pull the primary off and it did not bust loose however the nut that hold the spider I believe came loose on the inside of the clutch. Anyone have ideas for getting it loose now?

Thanks

Patrick

On what sled? Check the cyl base nuts and all clamps if you are loosing antifreeze. I take it you can't remove the clutch with the clutch puller? If that is the case get a threaded bolt the same size as your clutch puller, fill the cavity with grease then put the bolt in so you can get a good amount of threads started and hit it with the impact wrench. Just had a case a couple weeks ago where a freind couldn't get one off and old 500 and bet I couldn't get it off either. He bought the beer!

It is on my 900 RMK and I finally got it last night. Poored boiling water on it and tapped and it came off.
