Headed to the usual uncrowded border location saturday morning to find the road unplowed, so after a long ride in, in extremely wet snow, i lost my belt. Old anyway...group of guys came from the other direction and got in front of us. Good thing because i dont think we ever would have made it up the trail to the border without the 1m 900 162'' and his group goin up first. It was incredible how much snow was up there, unreal. It was also a lot less heavy up there, too. The group even had some issues with the hill, lot of tugging but they made it. They went one way, we went the other. I had forgotten to put oil in, and i was damn near out so we turned around at the top of the long hill (for those who know) both because we didnt know if we'd make it back up, and i was out of oil. On our way back to the truck i came down off the bank hard on the left rail and somehow split and destroyed part of the slide (near new) so i had to limp 13 miles to the truck...bad way to end the day. I cant imagine what itll be like next weekend.

It was unplowed ??? not plowed at all off the pavement? thats better than driving all the way up by truck!!!

Not plowed at all...it really cuts fuel down though to have to ride all the way in and out. Definitely lots quicker and less beatin on the truck though. Not as much equipment as there was a few weeks ago, either.

We were also up there today.. You werent the only one to end the day on a bad note.. We ended the riding with a2jet16v's clutch missing a few screws, and this happened to the trailer my sled was on.. Cant believe it made the three hour ride there, and back for that matter!! Didnt notice it until it was home in the driveway..
