wow 35-40 lbs, for a full tank of fuel, gallon of oil, gallon of antifreeze, chain case lube, carbide runners, oil in shocks, and a small battery if it's a sdi model. Hmmm, I alway thought gas was about 6 lbs per gallon. Doo must require some fancy light weight fuel.
I will agree these sleds are feather light to lift at the consumer show I saw then at, and also they were wery dry weight .

I know, but it is fun to razz a little.

No offence taken......Dyno Tech Research scaled the sled at 425lbs with all liquids and a gallon of fuel - do the math on the average wet weight you'll encounter in the snow. 465lbs!!

Ahh I see, one gallon of fuel. I did see the tnt on scales at the sko-doo show. 399lbs, but it had no runners or no fluid of any kind in it. Truely light.

A little bit of math here....

1 litre of water = 1 kilogram = 2.2046 pounds
44 litres of water = 44 kilograms = 97 pounds

The weight of gasoline is about 737.22 kg/m3 and water is 1000kg/m3 so

1 litre of gas = .737 kg = 1.625 pounds
44 litres of gas = 32.428 kg = 71.5 pounds

1 litre of collant = 1 kg = 2.2046 ponds (weight has to be very close to water)
4 litres of collant = 4 kg = 8.818 pounds

Dry weight of Rex XP = 430
44 Litres of gas = 71.5
4 litres of coolant = 8.818 pound

Approximate weight wet of the XP 510 lbs or 231 kg still way lighter then all the other sleds wet weight
