I got my dragon seat support in today, mounted the seat and I think it looks pretty good. Far cry from the old euro tail light seat. Let me know what you think

My dealer gave me a pretty smokin deal on the seat. 1/2 off so it sat me about $200 in on the seat and im not quite sure about the 07' dragon support, I'll have to get back to you all tomorrow on that to be exact but I know it was less than $80 at most

Im going to go with the 07 dragon tail light that mounts at the rear of the seat and partially under it. I havnt ordered it yet and if I was thinking I should have ordered it when I got my bracket but thats still another project for another day I guess

I am changing my 07 dragon seat to a 08 can it be done? I am not sure if the gas tanks are the same. So is what type of seat is that off of. Is the seat a dragon seat or just has the mounts.

Im almost 100% posative that the 2008 tank is completely different from the 07's becuase the front of the seat mounts close to the bottom of the gas tank on the tunnel where it slips in on the front of the seat. The 08's look like they have changed the tank and obviously the smaller seat that mounts up higher. This seat came off of an 06 rmk but this is basically a universal seat design that mounts the same on every seat, even the old fusion one. Your 07 dragon seat has the same guts as this rmk seat, just different vinals. The bracket is off of the 2007 dragon because as you can see, I needed a mount that would strattle over the rear heat exchanger. This required no modification to the rmk seat as well because the mounts for all of the hardwear is already there. It was a pretty easy conversion that only required a few new holes in the tunnel for the dragon bracket with an install time under 5 min, its a pretty easy conversion and looks awesome!! Hope this helps everyone out and thanks for the comments on the sled

Its been treating me pretty fair, better then my old 800. Im still trying to tune in the suspension and rid of some ski pressure. Awesome running sled, you sure kept it in PERFECT shape. I still havnt even been home since I came up to pick the sled up to check the mail but Ill let you know when I get it lol. I did have a question or two. Do you know if its had a fresh top end put in it since you.ve owned it and what about the life on the clutch weights, pins and secondary spring/helix?? Just wondering because it doesnt seem to be backshifting very well and I snapped the old 1111 belt clean in half so I upgraded to the 1115 belt instead. I was going to go through the clutches this week because I have a big ride this weekend, Im going up with my buddy Steve Martin and some slednecks guys to do some filming for his segment in next years film..anyways, thanks for the commentT
