i have a new cannon eos 35mm film camera...i was just wondering if anyone knew if all cannon lenses regardless of digital or 35mm film are the same and will work on my camera...i am looking for a good telephoto lense but i am unsure if all the lenses are the same...i am pretty sure i have an 18-55mm lense on it now, but i would like something with a little bit more "zoom" capability...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated also...THANKS

I'm not 100% but I've been led to belive that all Canon SLR lenses are compatible. I have a 70-300 F4-5.6 IS USM for my EOS and for the money it was well worth the $600 I paid for it a number of years ago. The image stabilizer made a huge difference when using hand held although the lens is not overly heavy. They also have a version without IS and the ultra sonic motion for about half the price. I believe it's a 75-300 and can be found at any Best buy or Circuit City for about $250-$300.
