I'm debating throwing down for VAST and hitting the trails this weekend... I can only get to the above mentioned areas via Mallet's Bay. Anyone been riding these trails? how are they?

Get your TMA and enjoy the best riding in many years. There is a section in Milton/Westford that isn't groomed, but everywhere else is fantastic. Malletts Bay will grooming today into tonight, as I'm sure others will too. So watch for the groomers. Our season is winding down so get out and enjoy.

Those trails will be great this weekend. Enjoy!

Nailset, in the future how can I go about getting a VAST membership through the Lakers? I will probably buy one in Milton tonight only because it's easy but I'd like to support the Lakers club as that is where my sled is located.

You can purchase a TMA at the following places: Land-Air, Lakeshore Hardware, The Boatworks, FiberglassPlus, Roadside Marine, VT Home and Marine, Pecor Auto and Franks Motorcycle. Our meetings are The 3rd Thursday of the month at Rozzies. Sept. to April at 7 pm.

Saw Bolton groomer in Richmond crossing Jericho Road by the water tank at 11:00 last night -

Just for some other information out of the area at little ways -

Rode the from Jeffersonville to Fairfax to St. Albans rail trail (it's great end to end) last night - met the groomer in Sheldon. Came down through Westfield/Jay (met another groomer) and Montgomery/Bakersfield. Everything was great either freshly groomed or within the last day or so.

Compliments to the folks who groom around Westifield/Jay - huge drifts/tons of snow to deal with in places and logging operations - well done.

Kudos to all groomer operators - I'm amazed at what is done when we don't have snow (last two years) - it's nice to see your talents and what can be done when we have snow!! Thank you!

1200 miles this year - all in Vermont!!!
