Tony,
I asked the first question because I thought it would nix it for me :-) I ride out of my family's place in Hessel on Saint Martins Point(Courtesy of FishWeb)...

I have only been riding the trails for two seasons so I would say mild - medium, 60-70 would be the top speeds in the wide open with good visibility straights. I like to open it up but take the turns easy. I have 136'' 1.5 lug track so I like to play off trail in the deeper stuff too. My biggest ride thus far was 42 miles, stop for gas, and returned 42 miles home. I had plenty left so I know I can do more.
So, with the limitation on riding area and style I wish you luck on finding a more suitable riding partner.
I'm buying a trailer this off season so I can have more options, but for right now I'm stuck riding from there. If my Brother in Law can not go up this weekend I will let you know. That way if for some reason nothing else works out for you... One positive is staying for free
I blew a water pump belt last year (first season after I bought the sled). I just checked things over and did not do any maintenance last year. I can say it was a freak thing, the sled looks brand new still.
This year on the other hand:
Changed coolent, and chain case oil, plugs
Greased all suspension fittings
Adjusted throttle cable free play, idle, oil pump, etc
Checked all wheels/bearings/sliders/water pump belt free play
So with 5,800 miles on the sled and 280 this year, unless there is a freak problem (you never know) I am good to go.
