when I we went riding this weekend I dident get more than maby 4 miles and it stoped and wouldent turn over. thaught I sized it but when we took it apart we saw the conecting rod went. my question is can I use my crank from a 03 440 in my 01 600 ves.

I am pretty sure not but you can mic the journals and ends of the crank if you want to check - or call the dealer - I assume that the crank went also? You said the rod broke, did it damage the crank or can you maybe just get it rebalanced and trued.

no dammage to the crank i probly just get it fixed over the summer. I was asking because I have a 03 440 crank laying in the barn.

Polaris does not sell a rod kit for your crank.

The rod length is different, the rest of the crank is the same. So, no.
