Hello ~

I own a 2004 RX Warrior and love it in wide open spaces but... starting off, low speeds, and in tight areas...I have a hard time with it. The machine does not ease forward, it rises to almost 5 rpms and then takes off like a shot...I don't mind this in open areas but hate it in groups, tight spaces, or in town. Is there any way to take this down a notch to say 2.5 or 3rmps so that it will ease forward rather then take off? Also, it does not corner for crap, especially at lower speeds with my 125 lbs frame on it...any suggestions? I would really love to keep it instead of getting something else! question.png

Thanks,
Ice Princess...

I would swap it on a Phazer. There are tons of great prices on 07 Phazers that have not been sold yet.

Thanks....I am starting to lean in that direction...my husband has one of the new Phazers and he loves it...I am not sure yet...it is a completely different feel...

You could check with a company called pioneer performance, they sell suspension and other stuff for Yamaha. I don't know if 5000 rpm is to high for engagement. How many miles on belt? Might want to check belt deflection. I read in other forums if you coast to stop after braking, the belt will be higher on secondary, so should be easier taking off. plowking
