is all the wiring the same for the engine, headlight, handwarmers etc between an edge and a pro x? a buddy with a pro x bought a chassis with no wiring in it, and someone is parting out an 02 edge 600 and has all the wiring, and would like to know if that wiring will hook everything up for like an 800 motor?

They are not the same, you would have to get the xc handwarmer/dimmer/ switch brake master cylinder setup from an xc or rmk to make the harness work correctly. I'm not absolutlely positive but check it out.

yes, use the 440 harness then buy the wiring that runs from the stator to the cdi, everything will hook up, i dont believe there is a key outlet though

key outlet isnt necessary. also, wouldnt the 800 motor have the wiring coming out of it, and the 440 wiring hook right up, even from the stator to the CDI?

440 harness will work fine. I'm using an 04 harness with an Ultra triple and only had to cut out a few random wires....for a standard prox get an 03 and older harness. The 04 is routed different and I'm not sure if they changed it's length because of that.

it depends, on my 06 440 harness it had different connectors and the stock 600 cdi was a differnt connector size than the 440, so i need the cdi wire section
