I got 90 miles in by noon today, but had to come back early because my smart valves started acting up, guess there's still some moisture in the tank.

I headed out from interlochen up the railroad bed

I went north once I hit the groomed trail, it was pretty bumpy in the tight woods, but once I got to a T in the trail that you can head to the railroad bed towards beulah, the groomer had been through and the trails were perfect, not even a riple left from the bumps that were there before. I only passed 8 sleds while I was on the groomed trails too

I passed the groomer a few miles outside of beulah

Then finally looped back through the roads by Lake Dubane (sp)

I'm starting to kinda like the black seat on my sled too

Your sled sure looks better than it did sunk.

Trails look good too.

that rr grade from T-Ville to Beulah is like the autobahn! I wish I could go and ride it but I am feeling the efects of a digger off the porch that cracked a rib or two and have had a major knee reconstruction in Jan (fifth one on the same knee). So for me all I can do is wait until next year...

Looks and sounds good, I will be leaving in morning for a couple days of riding in the area. Then may go back for weekend if winter holds on a little longer smiley-faces7.gif

just got back from that area. the trails were sweet. we came from interlochen. from interlochen to the main trail sucked but once you got to the trail it was smoothe. we rode sat night saw the groomer and all day sunday and saw the groomer twice. we went from interlochen and did the loop to copemish thompsonville kaleva, and the like. it is sweet. off trail riding there is sooooo much snow. i bet in some areas there is 3-4 feet, i know cause i got stuck a few times and what a bitch to get out. anyway it was a great 200 mile trip.

Just got back from Copemish myself, and the trails were the best i've seen them this season. The trails towards Kaleva were starting to get a little slushy and snirty as the afternoon sun warmed things up. Best weekend this year. Thanks groomer guys, and club folk for some truely awesome trails!
