Trails in WYOMING County are soft, today. we got some warm weather and it looks like we might loose the snow if we do not get more cold weather soon. However we did groom a section of trail today that went towards folsoms trails and we plan on going out with the grommer tonight. If you do choose to ride be slow due to ripping up the trails quick. like i Said they are real soft. The pictures that you see are our New/used Tucker WOW what a machine, one was taken on the start of the RR bed Near Gainesville and the finished groomed trail. Taken about two weeks ago...............our trails start outside the letchworth state park..........better known as the grand canyon of the east. check out our club trails at oatkavalley.org for the latest trail conditions and events...........see ya on the trails

The Trails were good, we got snow over night and the groomers are out today. Be careful with some of the Wet spots, some look like they may break through at any time. The Wind over night -Im sure Made the trails drifty and until we get them smooooooooooothed out again well take them easy. Other then that Not too many people were out ridding yesterday and know that it is cold out agian the trails may hang in their for a while longer....................oatkavalley.org........................for trail conditions in BLISS, PERRY, Warsaw, Varysburg, Orangeville, towards Attica, check out our new trail that also goes towards Pavillion.
BY the way the meeting it's today at the perry sportsmans Club
This pic was taken on 03/03/07

Trails yesterday were WILD
Think about it, if you could not see to drive on the road you really could not drive well on the trails. YET we were out grooming.
I would say that the groomer was out on one of our trails (Bliss RR bed twords arcade then gainesville, seaway trail and around to towards hermitage), From 11 am yesterday (5th) Until late this Am maybe around 1 or 2 (6th). But lets not count the time that the boys got the Tucker STUCK...........(I wish i had a camera)...........took close to 4 hours just to get it unstuck....all you could see was the top of the tucker and the yellow turning light,,,,, by the way we need as many ridders as possible to get out and ride today on our trails,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just to knock HUGE drifts down,,,,,,,,,,sounds like fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going for a quick ride, I will try and take some pictures so you have an idea what im talking about (drifts)...............

see ya on the trails

How are the Western Wyoming county trails. I've got the day off tomorrow and was thinking of trailering south from Orleans county to Wyoming unless the trails are bad I'll head to Tug for the day. I know in my area Orleans County most the trails are good but many fields are very blown with many areas of dirt and rock showing. Please advise Thanks Marc

One word, AWSOME, a 9 or 10 out of 10, Letchworth Park itself won't survive to see Monday, but the trails were in great shape, there was 2 or 3 bare fields just as you leave Letchworth, but nothing major. As you can tell from the GPS pic, the RR tracks were extremely flat and fast with very little traffic. I will be going back to letchworth tommorow bright and early.

Groomer was out early this AM, they are trying to keep the trails FLAT before the big thaw..... WOW was it cold this moring. Also be careful the trails are flat and ICY from them warming up yesterday then getting groomed last night...............I would say if anyone is interested in coming to WYOMING COUNTY..........get an early start we got hit real hard with alot of sleds on the trails yesterday, but the RR bed should be smoooooooth early this AM.... if you had to work today i feel sorry for you because by the time you get to ride tonight they may be chewwwwwed up... but do not fret the groomers plan on grooming again tonight LATE, when No ONE is on the trails so they should hold together for saturday as well, unless we get real warm weather during the day
see ya on the trails..................

TRAILS ARE IN GOOD TO GREAT SHAPE BUT WE SHALL SEE HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST>>>>>>>>>>>

Riding early was the key, the sun came out and was starting to take a toll on some of the thinner spots of the trails, I think Letchworth might be done, pavement is showing through towards the South end of the park and other spots are thin. There was alot of traffic out today and with the warmer weather coming the trails will be toast soon. I did a nice 144 mile loop, S40 out of Warsaw was horrible, lots of bare ground. Southern trails had better coverage and will hold up better. 3C3 from Jave to S40 hasn't been groomed in a while, lots of big moguls.

the trails for oatka valley club are closed, the trails are spotty if you dare to try them but over all between the rain then the sun it killed them in the open fields near warsaw, and other parts of our trail system.....spotty with snow were the snow got thin.........it did get cold out last night, but all the groomers are know at the groomer barn we brought them home before we lost all the snow and could not get them moved.... the guys are working on them today and also cleaning up the barn area..............keeping them still ready JUST IN CASE..........

THINK SNOW..........maybe we could go out for a daring ride, it would be like skipping from snow patch to snow patch.......
skidoochar
i would say that maybe if you stayed near the bliss location, arcade area (not sure about gaisesville or how the RR tracks held up) that the snow did not go away on these places like the warsaw and perry... trails.......go to bliss.................parking is near the town barn, trail is across the street behind the Rec hall.............they even sell gas in bliss.................lol

i may even go try them out to see how far i could go....................although the trails are closed,,,,,,,,,,,,,u can use them at your own risk.
