Polaris Indy Rider
Hey there at grandpas farm there is sitting in a loft my dads first sled. There was 2 Polaris colts one is a 72 I think. 295 SS's. My uncle sold the engine and rear suspention out of the one. And the other one Is basically complete All there except for one single problem that the engine is siezed. The other is basically a chassie, seat tank, track and secondary clutch. they both have cleated tracks. The hood from the one well not fit on the other one it is taller and i belive a different Front. I was wondering If i was to restore it and get it running how much it would be worth. And how much trouble is it to unsieze a engine that has sat for a long while.

You'r not gonna like this anwser...but if someone offers you $50 each, I'd deliver them as fast as you can. The 295 ss and 340 ss colts go (in running / complete but somewhat rough condition) for less than $150 on ebay all the time. You described yours as more than rough.
