Any locals from the area comment on what they are hearing for their local storm forecast? Rain down here in CT but looks like somewhere in Mass is the current forecasted rain/snow line. Booked at the Horizon so I hope it is all white gold!

You might be ok up on the mountian. The local guy is calling for 7 inches tonight before it mixes with sleet and rain. One forecast I saw give us the chance of up 15 inches even down here in southern Vt. Hope you get in a great ride, I might try to get up there if the roads are not to bad in the morning. I can ride from my house but the local trails are kind of ruff right now.

Thanks. As long as the storm moves out tomorrow afternoon I should be able to get to the Horizon Inn tomorrow evening or worse case just head up Sat morning. As long as no rain things should be good.

we were out today and airport rd is down to dirt in some spots.

conditions were very loose and spring like.

right now it's 30º

7A was still holding up good this morning, around the airport rd., points further south and east were definately getting thin, showing dirt in the afternoon, south facing stuff mostly.

i almost forgot it was snirt from the woopford mall almost all the way to the airport.

on a brighter note it just started snowing!

I won't say it but the radar shows it in southern VT. I hope it is wrong....

The radar is often wrong..
The last big storm is showed snow in my town all day when it fact it was 100% pure sleet. It had the snow/ice line a good 50 MILES south of me!

I am going to call the motel shortly. Somebody who actually lives there I am sure will let us know the real deal.

11 am, right now I'm in western mass about 10 miles from vt border and its raining. got about 5-6" of snow/sleet before the change over. Pretty sure its doing the same in willmington, VT

I'm in southern Vt. and its sleeting right now. We have about 7 to 8 inches of snow on the ground and it's suppose to change back over to all snow this afternoon. I'm sure up on the mountain they are getting nothing but snow and they always get more than we do down here. Have a great weekend and keep it safe!

Rode 185 miles in Woodford. Trails were great until about noon and then the conditions deteriorated quickly due to the warm temps.
