Full Version: Shaft Seal Panther 340

OK I know its not a ZR. But my boys 340 panther needs a new PTO shaft seal. What's the best way to replace it? I was thinking just remove the clutch and pry it off and replace it. Or do i have my head up my a##.

BTW.. It's a 99 fan cooled!!!

Well, Guys!

Thanks for DICK! Yes you can change them easily from the clutch end.
1/2 hour. Including cleaning up the clutch!

was taht jackshaft bearin or thee engine seal

Yeah Rider. I probably wouldn't have listend to you anyways. AS it said above PTO Shaft seal.
