I took a drive in the truck today and to my shock there seems to be lots of snow up on the mountain. Sleds are unloading from the Elmfield drop zone and the groomer has also been through. There seems to a good hard crusty base there and I was talking to a few guys there and they said it was good going, I know theres not much snow in the low lands like Scotsburn but I think if you go up the mountain conditions would be surprisingly good. I also heard that the Truro club has groomed back to the turn on the 104 where you head to earltown. If anyone is running in the Dlhousie mountain area could you send a quick trail report to me so I could update the club website

Thanks

Going to check it out tomorrow, was by today and there was a couple empty trailors and trucks
sitting at the Mt. Thom dropoff. Heard it wasn't too bad around that area.

Put about 40 miles on last night Mt.Thom,Earltown and Kemptown area. It was actually very good going.
Biggest problem was the ski's hooking under the crust on the corners.Don't think you will have to worry
about that today tho.

Thanks for the update. I think I will make a run tomorrow - late afternoon and try and get a 100 miles in or so.
