Hoping to stay in Cabano on Sunday night on our way out to the Gaspe. Heading east out of Cabano, there aren't any gas stop shown on the BSL trail map until Rimouski. That's about 175 miles, well beyond our range. I don't see gas in Trios-Pistoles area either.

Is there gas between Cabano and Rimouski? How about between RDL and Rimouski?

theres at least 2 gas stations in trois pistoles beside road 132 ,must be an exit somewhere !!!! from tq 5 you ll do roughly 4 miles (according to my map ) using trail 571(north ) .restaurant , gas station and motel !!

If you take 548 up to Rimouski from Cabano it's a lot shorter. Not sure if you want shorter or longer... but the first 20 miles or so of 548 is awesome. There is gas in Squatec if you go that way...

Also, There is a big gas station next to a shopping plaza a mile or so south of Cabano on TQ85.

I would take 548 as it is a beautiful ride, gas in Squatec and Rimouski, less than 100 miles out to TQ5 on 248 from Cabano, we just ran it last weekend

Just turn of the rail bed in Cabano and cross the lake, all staked and marked, beautiful road on the otherside of the lake.

and a third vote for 548 that trail is awesome to the point I plan to go through Cabano vs 5 up around RDL.

There is gas in Biencourt and also the first town you come to about 20 miles from Rimouski. If you gas up in Cabano you would have a hard time not having enough to get to Rimouski.
