Just put about 75 miles on tonight from Stowe to Elmore to Craftsbury to Hardwick and back to Elmore. Was a hell of a ride. A little bumpy in Wolcott (except the 1/4 mile where it was freshly groomed). Once we started for Craftsbury, it flattened out a bit, and once we were in Craftsbury, it was beautiful! Riding all through Craftsbury and into Hardwick it was perfect. Nice hard trails that were flat and smooth. Even coming all the way through back to Elmore it was great. Great job to whoever did the grooming in those areas.

I was in Craftsbury on 2/21 and it was the worst trail we hit in over 175 miles that day. We left Island Pond to Westfield and were at the jct of LE11 and decided we would go to Craftsbury instead of Eden. Wrong thing to do as we got into the fields and no pennants or other markers. Tracks all over the fields looking for the trail and nothing broke out where it should be. Stuck city and when we tryed to turn around it got worse. Met the Tucker who was trying to break the trail after we had gone through and was making our way back to decent riding. Never did make it to the other side of Craftsbury or the common this time. Maybe next trip but glad you had a good ride!!!!

I forgot to mention the Ma. Minivan that drove about a 1/4 mile onto the trail in Elmore...stuck like hell. People wrote some very funny things on his windows...wish I had a camera.

No, cuz I didn't leave Stowe until about 7:00pm. It was beautiful that night though, as I'm sure it was during the day. But you're right, Wolcott was all moguls, but wasn't bad standing up. A couple of times I almost kissed a few trees, shocks kind of sprung me out of them.

I was up in Craftsbury after the storm, and got buried too. They hadn't groomed at all, and I buried my Cat like crazy....twice. It's great now if you wanna check it out again.

Yep, talked to Warren at the Elmore Store, he said the guys GPS told him to go that way to get back to where he wanted to go. There's a Subaru down in a field in Stowe. Some guy's sled broke down, so he decided to drive on the trails to pull his sled out...his unregistered and un-VASTed sled. The Suby got stuck, and this was before the storm, so needless to say it's still there. It could potentially make a good jump with a bit more snow...lol.
