Hey all. My buddy that I usually snowmobile with has to work this weekend. Worse yet for him is his boss told him today that he can't take any vacation time for the next 3-4 months, including Saturdays. His winter is over, not that it ever really got started.

My wife won't let me ride solo, not that I want to anyways.

I know that a lot of guys will be up at the Phatman shootout, but I am wondering if anyone would be riding in the Rose City/Mio area that I could meet up with to ride? My place is just off of the snow trail, right behind the Hillcrest Bar (Ouga) on M-33. I could meet up most anywhere in the area. I can ride as slow or fast as those whom I am with.

It's the Badland's Entertainment Complex. I talked to the guy who plows our snow and he said there's lots of snow. Don't know how the trail coming out of town is though.

Not sure if I"ll be up this weekend my brothers up there in hale just off m65 by the eagles club he will ride with you . trails are good in that area. lots of snow there.

i'm heading up tomorrow mid morning by my self was heading toward grayling but not 100% yet

Its snowing damn good here in west branch/rose city. Actually thinkin about staying home this weekend and riding trails from rose city to northward. Not any rain yet just snowed since 10 am.

River-- whats your brothers name? Is he an eagles member? I am just off of 65 also just past the bear store. I am headed up tomorrow night. My brother (thefoolsbro) also has a place up there just north of shellenbarger, he is heading up also. I am sure we will hook-up for a nice long maybe season ending ride. I have to stay home next weekend. My daughter is selling girlscout cookies and its "my" weekend. Kevin

His name is Randy and he is a member ,they know him in there very well, his cabin is on larry rd.walking distance from eagles club. still thinking about going not sure yet, but hes up there.I would like to go to the U.P. one more time .

Ahh O.k. He bought Bill dykemans place. The brick ranch. I know Larry and Betty kind of kitty korner across from him to the south. They have a few places up in the general area. Last I knew he had the floor completly torn out of his house. Kevin

Just came back from West Branch tonight. Was down to my parents house this weekend. Most snow that I have seen there in about 5 years.

YesI agree most snow in a long time, trails were awesome on Saturday. They were getting a little lumpy and dirty but still good for this area.

Too bad trip got cut short with a broken chain.

Broken chain that sucks. But I would rather have that then the broken drive axle that I have.
