I just got back from an awesome trip to the U.P. We put on over 750 miles without anyone running into any problems. I just got back last night and we got dumped on last night and we're getting more tonight. I went out to start up my sled and it won't start. I had just started it an hour before, ran it for five minutes and shut it off. Got suited up and went to pull it out of the garage. Nothing...
We pulled the plugs, checked for spark, nothing....
It did it to me last night last night when we pulled it off the trailer too, but it started up today. Now I have nothing. I got pissed and am drinking beer now, sorry if I'm a little long winded, but does anyone know any reason it wouldn't spark?
Anything that I can check to eliminate what wouldn't be the problem??? Thanks to anyone with any insight.....

I had the same problem with my 01 mxz 800, I thought it was the stator for sure, so I changed it and same thing, turned out to be my dess switch, needed a new post, i guess it went bad? So start there, the cheapest anyway! Good luck..

snow = moisture...... more snow = more moisture. bad for electronics. give it a bit to dry out ot run a hair dryer on and around the switches.

Well....as I stated before, I was pissed. Got drunk and kicked it a couple times. Forgot about the problem for a little while....had a couple miserable days at work thinking about how badly I wanted my sled to run. Got home from work two nights ago and gave her a pull, just to see if I would have another bad night. She fired right up, first pull. So my guess is with you VTMXZ. I'm thinking it just needed to dry out. Thanks for all the insights. We're losing all our snow this next week, upper 30's and 40's all week. So tomorrow me be my last ride of the season....
