Going to buy the SS valves this week for my 2003 Pro-X 800. I want to get it done ASAP so that I'm not running on borrowed time with the stock aluminum valves.
What VES springs do I need for these elevations?
1300 feet (riding at home)
4000-7000 feet (Black Hills)
7000-9000 feet (Snowy Range, Wyoming).
Elevation can differ a little on the low and high end of these elevations but 80-90% of my riding will be at these elevations.
SS valve kit comes with 1 set of springs, correct? If you know the part number for the springs that would be helpful as well, as my dealer seems to have a hard time finding stuff sometimes.

The kit comes with two sets of springs. If you ride low elevations they recamend running the green/yellow. At high elevation run the pink. I run a twin piper 8 around here ( at 1500 feet) and run the pink at all times. The sled works GREAT !

I would run the green/yellow at low elevation as the kit comes with them, the pink at 4-7000, and the yellow at 7-9000.

green/yellow 7041786-08, pink 7041704-03, yellow 7041704-05. If you go even higher than 9000, with the stainless valves, the white 7041704-06 may be needed to keep the valve all the way open.
