Are there any replacement handlebars that would fit an '06 600 HU Fusion that are similar to some of the Arctic Cat bars?

I rode an Arctic Cat 700 recently and the bars drooped a little on the ends, seemed to be fairly wide, and there was a arc at the top connecting the left and right sides. They may be called "mountain" or "powder" or something like that. They worked great for high speed cornering and I found them to comfortable due to the extra width.

Also, is the hardware (throttle and brake mount, switches, etc) easily transferable to a different set of bars?

I found the parts needed to replace the stock bars with the wider hooked handlbars:

5435394-070 - long grips for hook style bars (2)
2410812 - long grip heaters (2)
5247566-067 hook style handlebars (1)


Parts are on order.

Polaris sells "agressive handlebars" (part #2874475), too. They are the same exact handlebars that are on the Firecats (a company in Canada makes the handlebars) and they come with the grips and heaters already installed. You have to buy a two-piece throttle block, however.

Whoops. I just read your second post. It looks like you are all set. I think you'll really enjoy your new set-up.

As Caddisfly mentioned, you will definitely need a two piece throttle block, since the stock one-piece throttle block will not slide over hooked handlebars. If you want to reuse the stock throttle block, your only option is to get a non-hooked handlebar, install the throttle block, and then add hooks to the bar. I didn't realize this prior to ordering a Fly handlebar for my sled ('06 Switchback), but luckily I ordered the straight (non-hooked) snocross bar, so I didn't have any problem.

The parts listed above came in, but they are the wrong parts - they are the same as the stock parts. I'll check into part #2874475.
