Going snowmobiling Saturday and I assume all the trails will have plenty of snow. So does anyone have any opinions as to where the best trails are within an hour of the cities. I have been snowmobiling for 3 years and have done most of it up in the Tower area, but with all this snow, I would like to go around the cities.

If you are in Blaine go straight north on 65 for an hour and dump off and ride north. Just north of Mora the trail runs the road ditch along Hwy 65 for about 5 miles. Stop at a Gas station in Mora and get a map. The east side of Mille Lacs is great riding and the trails will be groomed. They have the most snow in the state in that area other than the SE corner down by Winona. Also that area is the projected epi-center for tomorrows storm. I always park at a friends house outside of town so I can't give you a specific parking spot. Ask at the Holiday station in town. They should have maps there too.
