Found this place that make 2 type of sledding ones..along with Moose,Deer,Bears,...all that stuff. They are nicer than I expected.

What are they made out of? Metal, wood or plastic?

They look like they a laser cut or something...real smooth..they are a pretty thick steel and are powder coated. Really nice.
thesnowgauge.com is where they are from.
I got the 36" extenders as you see.
Really nice.

I've seen them being used in numerous web cams and in my opinion they are VERY hard to read with snow pilling up around it.

Mark, Those are cool. I'll have to get one for the middle of my field. Even though I could have told anyone roughly how much snow I had in the middle of my field after the V-Day storm (and the wonderful drifts)!! It was just about to my neck when I finally got my sled out of it!!! Not complaining though!

I dont think theyre meant to be a meteorogical standard...they are a helluva nice yard ornament and conversation peice. Theyre rugged.
Anyone else know any cool sites with Snowmobiling type things for the camp...indoor or out ?
