I'm a sledder looking to buy a fourwheeler, which I don't know much about...... I'm looking at a 1998 Yamaha Big Bear 350. I'm a 210 pound guy and just wondering if you guys thought it was a good deal? Not really into the speed, have the sled for that, but a affordable dependable fourwheeler. is it a good bike? anything bad about them?
Big Bear for $3000
(mint shape)
Thanks

You can"t go wrong with a Yamaha or even a Honda. The Yamaha Big Bear, Kodiak"s and the Grizzlies are good bikes. In the Honda line the Rancher and Foreman"s are a good bet also. Just make sure to go over it pretty good looking for bent , broken or anything jerry-rigged because parts on quads are at a premium like anything else these days. Go to ATVWILD , Mudhole.ca and ATVTIME and check in the brand specific forums for problems and such. Also look in the classifieds !
good luck

My buddies uncle had one and he beat the hell out of it (jumps, wheelies, ect). And it was very reliable i dont think he even broke anything on it at all.

Thanks guys!
I think i'm going to go with it. I looked at a couple Honda's in the same price range.... beat all to hell. the lowest KM's was 10 000. Crazy! The Big Bear has just over 4000. I think it's what i'm looking for.
