MY CLUTCH SEEMS TO BE SLIPPING, I THINK. SOME TIMES IT'LL DO 90 SOMETIMES 65, BUT I DON'T SEE 110 ANYMORE. ALL THIS HAPPENED AFTER I REMOVED THE MOTOR TO FIX A BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT PLATE. I CHECKED EVERYTHING. CENTER TO CENTER IS 11.5, DEFLECTION IS 1.5, PRIMARY HAS 68 GRAM WEIGHTS WITH ALMOND/RED SPRING, SECONDARY HAS BLACK COUNTERCLOCKWISE WOUND SPRING WITH 3 DERON WASHERS, ALSO HAS A NEW BELT WITH A 66/46/56 HELIX. AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?

FORGOT TO MENTION THI IS A 02 440/800 AND IT'S HITTING MAX RPM, SO I THINK EITHER THE BELT IS SLIPPING OR THE SECONDARY ISN'T SHIFTING

Did the alignment change? Also check the engine torque stop, it should be tight, the rubber squished slightly.

Unless Polaris changed something, deflection should still be 1.25". 3 delrin washers? 56 is the last # on your helix? Alm/red spring isn't noted for holding tension for a long time, sacks out easy. Leaving any deposits or discolorations on the sheaves, what's sheave temps? Rpm's holding, rising, or falling off?

SORRY FOR THE TYPO, DEFLECTION IS 1.25. WORD ON THE STREET THE SECONDARY SPRING LIKES TO BIND ON THE TEAM CLUTCH AND THAT'S WHAT THE WASHERS ARE FOR, TEAM INDUSTRIES AND SLP SELL THEM. 56 IS THE LAST NUMBER ON THE HELIX. NO DEPOSITS OR BURN MARKS, BUT THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CLUTCHES ARE SHINEY IN THE MIDDLE INDICATING BELT SLIP. THE PRIMARY SPRING IS BRAND NEW.RPM'S ARE HOLDING STEADY.DON'T KNOW ABOUT TEMPS OTHER THAN THEY ARE WARM. NOT SURE WHAT'S WRONG. I'VE TAKEN BOTH CLUTCHS APART AND I DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG
