Fella's had a little mishap and busted the fuel pump on my 06 Mach.....can't find one anywhere. All the local dealers tell me they are back ordered until march 19......f&&%$$^ sweet. Gotta be a chicken dealer with one somewhere. Don't care where.. I'll pay whatever it takes to get it shipped here. Snow'l be gone before I get one local.
Thanks for the help / suggestions.

hey gowser you should go over to doo talk and look in the Mach section, lots of info on this problem, mine went last week and i took everyones advice and got one from NAPA, its not the same pump but it was in stock and it worked. I relocated the pump behind the battery it was fairly easy to do. Good Luck!

Well the Mayor got his post in while I was typing mine, that E8012s is what I put in mine.

Having a problem with my 05. runs for about 5 gallons of fuel then starves for fuel and dies. Could this be the fuel pump problem you are speaking of? I did have the upgraded pump replaced last year, no symtoms just had it done because.

Most probably a pump issue. Mine (lower) broke from hitting a heave on the river. Ripped one out of another 06...thing was smoked as well. Just dis-connected it and been running off the tank pump only. No worries now......we're done. Backordered unit will probably hit my dealer any day now!

I would not put the fuel pump from BRP the chances of you getting another bad one is great. Not only are they twice as much money there is deffinitly a problem with the pumps that were made for BRP.Go to napa and get fuel pump number 610-1050 there 40 bucks.mine has held up well with no problems 1200 miles later and relocate the pump while your at it.

I blew 2 -10 amp fuses for the fuel pump in the fuse panel in front and ended up putting in a 20 amp fuse and the sled would still die out when applying throttle but it would start right up on the first pull every time. Does this sound like the same problem(low pressure pump) ? If it is, I'm thinking about doing the NAPA pump also - just wanted to hear about results before attempting the modification. Can you get to the hoses and wiring with out jacking up the motor ? How about wiring up the Napa pump-is there any wire splicing ? Are the fuel hoses long enough to stretch over behind the battery ? Sorry about all the questions but thanks in advance

If you go to dootalk you can do a search for the fuel pump and you will find pictures and
directions on where to mount it. I will be mounting mine by the battery this summer.
The pump in its stock location will probably take 3 hours to change. When you
mount it by the battery it will take only 30 minutes at most if it goes bad again.
You will have to splice the wires and modify the hoses but it will work.
I hope this helps you.

You can disconnect everything and leave the pump. Flashlight, needlenose and a little patience
